The feedback I received on my pitch for Euphoria told me that despite the film being conceptually and competently good, the pitch did not showcase the plan effectively. My verbal communication wasn’t good enough in places and didn’t expand fully on several important segments of the presentation. It needed to be far more concise.

The PowerPoint presentation itself was too dense and wasn’t visually appealing in some places.

The largest specific point made was that I should highlight the benefits to putting the actors and stuntmen in danger, those being that it vastly improves the quality and realism of the film.

The feedback showed that having cameo appearances from sports personalities and famous actors was very much appreciated and would certainly aide the film in receiving attention from audiences.

Furthermore the feedback informed me that despite my intention towards having unknown actors in the film being valid, there would not likely be a large enough draw to the film from audiences. Therefore I have since decided to replace these actors with stars from British soap operas as I feel these actors would be appealing enough for audiences to enjoy but not well-known enough to take away from the themes of the film.
These actors have not yet been chosen but will thankfully not largely affect the required budget of the film.
